The templates are set up to provide the proper formatting and headings. These are new templates, as of Feb. 2016. I would encourage you to start using the template right from the beginning, rather than doing all your work and then cutting and pasting it into the template. If you do decide to cut and paste material into the template, be sure to maintain the formatting in the template–do not transfer the formatting of your other document into the template or you will lose the formatting that was a part of the template. Be careful about not changing the formatting of the section headings: they are hyperlinked to the Table of Contents. You can change the wording, of course, but avoid changing the formatting by deleting the entire heading; first add your new words, then delete the old ones. If you do change the formatting, you will have to create a new Table of Contents. See the next paragraph.
